Announcing the Chainlink-Powered Hyphen Oracle Network in Partnership With Glink Solutions and NorthWest Nodes
We are happy to announce the launch of the Hyphen Oracle Network in partnership with NorthWest Nodes and Glink Solutions. The Hyphen Oracle Network is the world’s most advanced custom-built Chainlink decentralized oracle network dedicated to climate information. The network gathers, aggregates, standardizes, and validates data from thousands of satellites, IoT devices, weather stations, oceanic submersibles, and ships and makes this data available in preferred formats in near-real-time through Chainlink to empower Web3 and the traditional financial system to build more advanced and sophisticated climate-focused financial products. Now that capital markets have access to this data, new standards and financial products can be developed — all backed by data of the highest scientific standard.
At Hyphen, we believe high-quality dynamic data is key to combating the climate crisis, and we have the necessary tools at our disposal to create impactful change. Chainlink’s battle-tested oracle infrastructure enables us to provide the most accurate climate data available to decentralized systems as well as legacy systems. We can provide unprecedented flexibility for companies and organizations by unlocking verified data to empower the most ambitious climate initiatives. For example, we will provide ESG firms with dynamic, validated climate data to help sharpen the accuracy of their models, calculations, and forecasts. Additionally, we have the data and methodologies to enable carbon asset validation. For example, we can measure the performance of carbon assets such as forestry initiatives by tracking carbon sequestration.
Glink Solutions and NorthWest Nodes have joined the Hyphen Oracle Network as validators and strategic partners bringing their own climate-related data and business to the Hyphen Oracle Network. We are excited to embark on this journey with two groups focused on providing robust infrastructure services that better facilitate the deployment of essential climate data from the world’s leading atmospheric agencies.
“We think that topics such as carbon credits, climate assets, and green technology will gain in relevance and urgency in the near future, so we are very grateful to help validate Hyphen Oracle Network datasets,” said Vitali Grünsteidl, Co-Founder of Glink.
This partnership encompasses decades of combined experience across atmospheric science, data management infrastructure, and decentralized ledger technologies, and is a common response from like-minded groups seeking to use their expertise to address the climate crisis. The addition of NorthWest Nodes and Glink to the Hyphen Oracle Network adds layers of security, reliability, and responsiveness to a network dedicated to providing integral datasets. These include carbon and carbon-equivalent oceanic and atmospheric fluxes, global greenhouse gas and ozone-depleting substance concentrations, anthropogenic and biogenic emissions, and more, sourced from the WMO’s global sensory network of weather towers, satellites, in-situ sensors, submersibles, and transoceanic ships
“To be able to have a trustless climate accounting system that can be used by industry, governments, and nonprofits alike to facilitate the fair trade of carbon credits, climate assets, and clean technology is paramount to achieving the goals of a cleaner, safer, and pollution-free future,” said Zale Reeves, Co-Founder and CEO of Northwest Nodes.
Chainlink decentralized oracle networks securely package real-world data and off-chain computation in a consensus-based format to be used by a wide variety of applications across Web2 and Web3. With now over 1,000+ oracle networks having provided 4B+ data points across an array of distinct services, oracle networks empower developers to achieve the optimal combination of speed, data quality, and aggregation methodology in their individual applications in order to reach consensus about a particular piece of data.
About Chainlink
Chainlink is the industry standard for building, accessing, and selling oracle services needed to power hybrid smart contracts on any blockchain. Chainlink oracle networks provide smart contracts with a way to reliably connect to any external API and leverage secure off-chain computations for enabling feature-rich applications. Chainlink currently secures tens of billions of dollars across DeFi, insurance, gaming, and other major industries, and offers global enterprises and leading data providers a universal gateway to all blockchains.

About NorthWest Nodes
Founded in 2021 by Zale Reeves, NorthWest Nodes was onboarded to provide decentralized data services for the Chainlink Network in 2022. The Dubai-based company has been raising the bar in blockchain infrastructure, from security and performance to global reach and extensive data sets. With offices in Dubai, Canada, and the Netherlands, NorthWest Nodes is well positioned to operate globally, connecting information systems, financial institutions, and digital markets worldwide in a trustless manner.
On top of expanding global partnerships and an enterprise focus, NorthWest Nodes aims to bring the world of Web3 to every industry that can integrate this powerful decentralized technology, while providing a best-in-class experience by being, and remaining, the industry’s standard in data security, availability, and integrity.
With a mission to trade trust for truth and to validate with reliability and reputation, NorthWest Nodes helps clients navigate their decentralized digital future and ensure their data and business is always on course.
About Glink
Glink Gmbh was established in 2020, as a consulting company in the traditional IT industry. Given the rapid growth and adoption rate in the blockchain industry, Glink made the strategic decision to shift the scope of the company.
Glink aims to validate a broad range of datasets onto various blockchain systems. These datasets vary from market data over to climate, weather and position data. To achieve this, they have established a positive track record in participating in various blockchain related projects and competitions, such as the Chainlink Olympics #1. This enabled Glink to prove their skill set to potential partners, and form committed business relationships with Hyphen and Northwest Nodes.
About Hyphen
Hyphen is committed to pioneering science-based digital MRV solutions with a strong emphasis on environmental preservation and collaborative stakeholder engagement. We firmly believe that safeguarding biodiversity and ecosystems is imperative for a sustainable future. By harnessing real-time atmospheric greenhouse gas data, our mission is to enhance the integrity of carbon markets.
Hyphen’s methodologies have been honed through over six decades of research conducted under the auspices of the World Meteorological Organization. We place atmospheric greenhouse gas monitoring at the forefront of efforts to improve the verification of emissions reductions, removals and sources. In an era characterized by the global shift toward a green economy and the overarching goals of the Paris Agreement, Hyphen stands as a leader, advocating for science-driven MRV solutions that unlock the full potential of voluntary carbon markets and comprehensive sustainability initiatives.
